Registration Information

As shown below, we have three registration deadlines. After each deadline there is a slight price increase. After the final deadline in September, hopefully you have your entire team registered, however, if you do not, your teammates have 1 week to join the team. If they have not joined your team by  September 10th, they will be charged a $25 late fee. Our hope is to avoid this fee. So, please make sure your teammates have pulled the trigger, even if they say they have, Team Captains should make sure of it.

EIGHT RIDERS

The 8 person category will be broken into three groups: Men, Women and Mixed.

  1. Each team is responsible for their own leg transition strategy. Some teams may choose to ride one leg at time, while others will only transition every other. With 420+ miles, each rider will ride approximately 55 miles….in theory.
  2. Strategy is part of the fun. We provide the leg breakdowns, transition areas and you decide how to have the most fun.
  3. Short sprints, long hauls, or something in the middle!

Price
Before 5/01/2023 – $880
Before 7/03/2023 – $960
Before 9/04/2023 – $1200

Note: There is also sales tax, and a registration fee (4.97% + 1.25) that are added on at checkout.

FOUR RIDERS

The 4 person category will be broken into three groups: Men, Women and Mixed.

  1. Each team is responsible for their own leg transition strategy. Some teams may choose to ride one leg at time, while others will only transition every 3 or 6 legs. With 420+ miles each rider will ride approximately 105 miles….in theory.
  2. Strategy is part of the fun. We provide the leg breakdowns, transition areas and you decide how to have the most fun.
  3. Short sprints, long hauls, or something in the middle!

Price
Before 5/01/2023 – $480
Before 7/03/2023 – $560
Before 9/04/2023 – $640

Note: There is also sales tax, and a registration fee (4.97% + 1.25) that are added on at checkout.

SOLO RIDER

The Solo category is for those of you who really like to push yourself to the limit. Solo riders will ride the entire course from start to finish.

Important things to consider about a Solo attempt:

  1. At least two people are required on your support team. We do not like people to be in the car driving by themselves all night. With two support crew members they can switch off and keep each other awake.
  2. You need to be prepared for everything: mechanical problems, weather, food, the fact that you are going to be riding for 28 to 34 hours.
  3. Proper night riding equipment. (See Event Bible)

Price
Before 5/01/2023 – $145
Before 7/03/2023 – $165
Before 9/04/2023 – $185

Note: There is also sales tax, and a registration fee (4.97% + 1.25) that are added on at checkout.

Open Category

Each year, for one reason or another, there are a number teams that desire to ride with a team consisting of a different number of riders than those listed above. We want to be clear, this is an option, however, it is the exception.

The event and the course have been designed for the standard team sizes.  To participate with a team size other than a standard team size, it must be approved by the event team prior to registration. To request this, please contact us via info@salttosaint.com to explain what team size you would like to participate with and and why. The event team will then decide if your reason is acceptable. If it is, you will receive an invitation code granting you access to register with your desired team size.

Teams riding with a non-standard team size will be placed in the “Open” category. These teams will still receive the finisher medals, be entered for raffle prizes, and be just as cool as the other teams, but the event is designed for the standard size teams so this will be the exception.

Getting Involved

Do you own or work for an organization that wants to get more involved? Great! We would love to have you on board! The format of the Salt To Saint Relay creates many opportunities for companies or groups to interact at multiple levels. We want your organization to come and see why participating in Salt To Saint has become an annual tradition for so many.  Options 1-4 are a few to consider. Please reach out to us if you would like to discuss other ideas.

Option #1 – Ride

  • Simply put a team together and ride. We want you to RIDE! This is a great team building experience that will not be forgotten

Option #2 – Social Media Partner

  • Social Media Giveaways
  • Social Media Cross Promotions: Help us spread the word, by letting your followers know about the Salt To Saint Relay. Simply “Like” us on Facebook and Instagram.

Option #3 – Contribute

  • Sponsor a Category: Random Teams from each category (Men, Women, Mix) will receive prizes from the participating shops.

Solo – Prizes for 1 rider x 2 (Men & Women)
Two – Prizes for 2 riders x 3 (Men, Women, Mixed)
Four – Prizes for 4 riders x 3 (Men, Women, Mixed)
Eight – Prizes for 8 riders x 3 (Men, Women, Mixed)

Option #4 – On Location

  • Transition Area Support: This is a great way to advertise for your shop and support the riders. It is nice, as a rider, to have some interaction along the way. You choose how you want to provide support to the riders. Perhaps you provide hydration, or maybe some nutrition. Maybe you bring along a Mariachi band to serenade the riders as they arrive at your station. The possibilities are endless!
